VideoAlpha Sovereign is developed using certain open source components. Each component is used and distributed in accordance with its respective copyright holder and license terms. We comply with the obligations of each license.
VideoAlpha Sovereign may include or use Python®, Qt/PySide6, yt-dlp, FFmpeg, and other open source components. Each component is provided under its respective copyright holder and license terms.
The copyright notices, full license texts, version information, and where applicable, source code provision information for each component are available in the THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.txt file or the LICENSES directory in the software installation folder. The corresponding source code or source availability information for open source components requiring such provision under licenses including LGPL is available in the LICENSES directory of the software installation folder or at the open-source notice location designated by Alphasov. VideoAlpha Sovereign's own source code, trademarks, UI, licensing system, documentation, and proprietary features are the exclusive property of Alphasov unless otherwise stated. However, open source components are governed by their respective open source license terms, which take precedence.
FFmpeg Notice
Some video and audio merging, conversion, and post-processing features of VideoAlpha Sovereign may use FFmpeg/ffprobe components from the FFmpeg project. When FFmpeg is provided with this Software, the components are distributed as separate open source components from VideoAlpha Sovereign and are subject to the applicable FFmpeg license terms. Alphasov does not claim ownership over FFmpeg. This software may use code from the FFmpeg project licensed under the LGPL v3. The FFmpeg license text, copyright notices, version information, build information, and corresponding source code or source availability information for the FFmpeg binaries distributed with the Software are provided in the LICENSES directory of the software installation folder or at the open-source notice location designated by Alphasov.
