alphasov.com is the official website of VideoAlpha Sovereign. VideoAlpha Sovereign (VAS) is a Windows program developed and operated by Alphasov that offers YouTube video downloading, channel backups, and channel management features.
How It Began
VideoAlpha Sovereign grew out of the experience of tracking material on a specific topic over a long period and organizing it by hand — checking new uploads every day, organizing URLs, normalizing filenames, avoiding duplicates. The repetition consumed too much time.
We built it to cut down that repetition. So VideoAlpha Sovereign is not a simple file-saving tool — it is designed around the structure and workflow needed to keep videos backed up and managed, from adding channels to analysis and automatic sorting. Channel-level auto-classification, duplicate detection, consistent filename rules — all of it started with one goal: "Turn tasks you repeat several times a day into a single click."
Operating Principles
Local-First
Channel libraries and backup history are stored on the user's PC and are not transmitted to or collected by our servers.
Local Preservation
Backed-up files are saved to your local disk, preserved permanently without being affected by external service shutdowns or policy changes.
Lifetime License Option
Beyond monthly subscriptions, we offer a one-time lifetime license. Users should be able to choose their payment structure.
Independent Development
Independent software not reliant on outside capital or advertising. Product direction is decided by what users actually need.

VideoAlpha Sovereign is developed and operated by Alphasov. Alphasov is an independent software brand, currently focused on VideoAlpha Sovereign as its flagship product.
